Mumford and Sons Set for Record Breaking First Week Sales in U.S. for "Babel"

In stark contrast to Kreayshawn’s dismal sales figures for her debut LP Somethin’ About Kreay (3,900 in its first week), Mumford and Sons’ Babel is set to have the biggest first week movement of units in the U.S. since AC/DC’s 2008 LP Black Ice.
According to Billboard, the London band figures come in at around 600,000 sales, topping the likes of Madonna, Justin Bieber and Pink in 2012. They can also add the accolade of having the second highest digital album sales ever after Lady Gaga’s Born This Way, which sold 662,000 units. Babel is available now on iTunes.
