Clad in black timber and dark reflective glass, this sleek house subtly blends into its surrounding, providing a tangible connection to the environment. Designed to separate the private and public areas of the residence, the kitchen, dining and living rooms blend into one fluid space while the bedrooms remain separate. A stark color palette consisting primarily of black and white puts an emphasis on the materials and physical forms of the residence and its surrounding space. In addition to being wonderfully designed the house also serves as a showcase for sustainable, eco-conscious construction with its use of renewable timber and low-energy construction.
