“QUIK” is a collaborative film between Quiksilver and The Berrics shot exclusively on the sidewalks and streets of Los Angeles – giving an unprecedented look into the world of street skating. Following Austyn Gillette as he navigates LA’s historic east side and downtown at top speed, director Colin Kennedy does well to provide ample cityscape moments that blends nicely with cinéma vérité techniques. In terms of specs, “QUIK” was shot on a Sony PMW-F3 with Cooke 18-100mm T3 Lens – while behind-the-scenes footage can be seen here.
