Aloha Rag has teamed up with Converse again to produce two models under the retailers AR SRPLS label. Inspired by military garments and textiles, the shoes feature subtle military influences such as the use of olive coloring and canvas detailing. The Pro Leather Racer is available in a white leather and suede colorway with olive detailing and a rubber gum sole. Overt military references are confined to the laces, the camouflage leather heel tab and the star detailing on the medial side. The second model, the Auckland Racer, sports a goat leather and canvas upper in a rich brown colorway. The Racer features subtle branding on the tongue as well as stitched star Converse logo on the canvas midfoot panel. Produced in limited numbers, the collection can be found online with the Pro Leather available September 15 and the Auckland Racer up for presale September 15 with a release date in December.
