adidas Basketball: The Return of Derrick Rose Commercial

As adidas Basketball documents Derrick Rose‘s return from this spring’s season-ending ACL tear, the brand is set to introduce a new commercial coinciding with its “The Return of Derrick Rose” series. Entitled “Wake Up” and teased here, the commercial captures the shocking disbelief of the Chicago fans following last season’s injury and looks forward to the future as the Windy City comes back to life with Rose’s return to the court. Shot in various locations across the city of Chicago and featuring cameos by Derrick’s brother Reggie Rose, Chicago sports anchor Dan Roan and Kevin Harlan’s in-game call from the game 1 TNT broadcast, “Wake Up” will premiere in its entirety next week as adidas officially launches the D Rose signature collection and the adidas Rose 3 on October 4.
