Scandinavian designers Wood Wood look to embrace the “Summer of Love” next year. Through a recent showing at Copenhagen Fashion Week, inspirations were based on the American and British movements known as the “Summer of Love” and the “Second Summer of Love” respectively. It was their ability to break free from their existing social institutions that makes for an interesting intangible application to fashion. Positioned with a balance of both street and higher fashion sensibilities, the collection utilizes some instant seasonal favorites through careful color pops. While cohesion may not be the first thing on one’s mind, there lies enough to draw a more than favorable conclusion.
