The xx Announces Performance with The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra

While their upcoming album Coexist is dropping on September 10, The xx have announced plans for a special performance next month alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. This special clash of creative forces will happen as part of the ongoing “BBC Philharmonic Presents…” series. Accordingly, the performances will contain an eclectic selection of songs from the band’s debut self-titled album as well as its forthcoming sophomore album. This will go down at Bridlington Resort in East Yorkshire, England on September 19. While there will a live broadcast by Zane Lowe on Radio 1, tickets for this live extravaganza are free (more details on that later).
