Born in Milan, raised in Tuscany and rooted in the graffiti scene of the 1990s, artist Teo Pirisi – better known as MONEYLESS – is set to open his latest solo exhibition over the weekend. Entitled “Per Aspera Ad Astra” (“A Rough Road Leads to the Stars”), the display sees works inspired by structures represented in geometrical form. Showcasing complex and intricate forms created out of the multiplication of geometrical figures, the exhibition will feature compass-assisted line drawings alongside installations both large and small. “Per Aspera Ad Astra” opens this Saturday, August 18, at SOZE Gallery in Los Angeles.
