Although The Avett Brothers have put out six albums since they officially came to be in 2000, many would argue that it wasn’t until their 2009 major label debut, I and Love and You, that the folk rock band had its big break. Now, over three years later, the North Carolina natives have returned with the followup, The Carpenter. Just like with I and Love and You, Seth and Scott Avett and company teamed up with legendary super-producer Rick Rubin to compose The Carpenter‘s 12 songs.
