Following up its acclaimed successor the Note, Samsung has announced the debut of its new Galaxy Note II. Samsung’s first phone to ship with Android‘s 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, it will also come preloaded with Note-specific apps as well as the company’s suite of sharing apps including S Beam, Shareshot and AllShare Play. Physically the phone resembles the company’s other flagship model the Galaxy S III, albeit on a larger scale, with a 5.5 inch screen, rounded edges, and a physical home button with touch sensitive buttons on either side. Internally, the new Note features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GBs of RAM, making this the most powerful phone in Samsung’s lineup.
