Junya Watanabe continues to present his 2012 fall/winter season, this time via the pages of the latest issue of GRIND magazine. The pieces highlighted utilize a color palette of deep and earthy blues, browns and reds to really strengthen a feeling of fall. A relaxed cut to the garments makes them ideal for layering, with some nice examples on display here. The workwear characteristics are obvious but not overwhelming enough to turn the season into just another retro collection, and shows that Watanabe has really taken this style and made it his own.
