Designer William Watson presents a preliminary look at the Spring 2013 pieces from his eponymous menswear collection. Juxtaposing retro-inspired casual wear that harkens back to his childhood in the blue-collar northeast of England with the refined, avant-garde stylings that marked his years in Milan, the collection features color-blocked outerwear and double-breasted jackets alongside high-waisted and pleated trousers, short-sleeve button-downs and more. A flair for exaggeration is present throughout with the appearance of asymmetrical lines, elongated collars and oversized pockets. Boasting a predominance of grey, blue and white throughout the majority of the pieces, the collection is due out early next year.
