Carhartt WIP 2012 Fall/Winter Illustrated Ad Campaign by SHOHEI

It truly is amazing what you can accomplish with a small ballpoint pen. For Tokyo-based visual artist/illustrator SHOHEI, the boundaries of the ballpoint pen are even further than most. Tapping his unique aesthetic and highly detailed artistic talents, Carhartt WIP recently filmed a video cataloging a special piece by SHOHEI for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Filmed in a time lapse fashion, the 1:37 footage captures a rapid glimpse into the detailing, shading and linework of the artist as he sketches a special Carhartt WIP jacket.
