Tokyo streetwear label NEIGHBORHOOD was founded by designer Shinsuke Takizawa through his collective inspirations from motorcycle culture, and the utilitarian spirit of military uniform. The brand has enjoyed an impressive growth in global popularity beyond Tokyo, so naturally an expansion into the Chinese market in Beijing was inevitable. The new Beijing store recently opened, and Takizawa was on hand to document his brand in the hands of a new staff and under a new roof.
