The Y-3 Drake has brought the ever-popular Yohji Yamamoto back down to Earth with its formal aesthetics — a design that is decidedly more unassuming than the likes of the Nomad Star and Nomad Racer. The latest in the 2012 fall/winter line comes in both high and low-cut form, and represents the designer with a signature ribbed rear panel. Both Drake models come in tonal black, while vivid blue is offered specially for the high-cut model, and navy/tan for the low, all of which accompany the shoe’s classic boot look. Release information on the Drake can be found via Y-3 online.
