Reworking the already fast X-Bow, KTM offers an “R” version to those in serious need of speed. With a history in building race-ready motorcycles, KTM raises the bar with this track-ready sports car by increasing the output from 240 horsepower to 300. The Audi-sourced 2.0 liter TFS1 turbocharged engine puts down 295 lb-ft of torque at 3300 rpm and is capable of launching the X-Bow R from 0 to 100 kilometers in under four seconds. In absence of weight adding luxuries such as sound dampening panels, a stereo system, and even a front windshield, the race-spirited car makes use of weight-shedding carbon-fiber components to keep it well under the 2000lb mark — racing gloves and helmets sold separately.
