One of two tracks produced by record producing giants, The Neptunes, Usher’s studio version of “Twisted” also features a verse from Pharrell Williams. Dropping hot off his seventh studio album Looking 4 Myself, the track was previewed on MTV News last week to the fanfare of its old school beats. Usher calls the song a “nostalgic record” that reflects the album’s aim of embodying all the various musical experiences that have impacted him. A classic R&B record modernized for today, Looking 4 Myself includes additional collaborations with Rick Ross, Luke Steele, and A$AP Rocky and becomes available June 12. It can currently be pre-ordered on iTunes.
