HYPEBEAST Spaces: Candie Weitz

Upon plugging Candie Weitz into a search engine you’ll be surprised to see very little information appear regarding the aspiring Los Angeles-based designer. What you’ll likely come across is a collection of photographs at elite fashion events and her recent collections as Co-Founder of U.S. Alteration – a line designed and manufactured entirely in the United States exploring traditional Americana silhouettes through a modern lens involving premium cut-and-sew materials. What may go unnoticed however, is Weitz’s commitment to advancing the lives of our impressionable youth through public sector art education serving on the leadership council of P.S. Arts in California. In our latest HYPEBEAST Spaces installment, the designer by trade and philanthropist by night brings us on a humbling tour of her sprawling California mansion. Decked out with an endless supply artistic inspiration, rare collectibles, a patio nicer and larger than most apartments, as well as a jersey collection that would have had early Fabolous spit DaDaDa-DaDa-Damn, Weitz’s impressive pad leaves us wondering why she hasn’t been featured on every fashion site imaginable for her extreme tastes and inspiring interior design.
