British designer Alexander McQueen is bringing its famed punk-rock aesthetic to a mid sneaker by PUMA for the footwear label’s 2012 fall/winter catalog. Aptly called the “Joust Mid,” the shoe culls design inspiration from the sights and sensations of a medieval battlefield. The rubber soles are proof of this, designed to look like the chainmail worn by knights of the period. The shoe comes in three color offerings: rust, silver metallic and moonless night.
