Brooklyn-based indie rock band Grizzly Bear has been out of the spotlight for a couple of years and sorely missed. While the group’s musician and producer Chris Taylor has kept rather busy with his solo side project CANT, fans have been keeping their fingers crossed that the rest of their beloved four-piece was busy in studio working on new music. The band took to their Facebook in May of last year to announce that they were indeed at work on a new LP, but no music emerged. Not until now, at least. Finally, we have the first song from Grizzly Bear’s upcoming, not-yet-titled fourth album, which, judging by the tracklist to the LP below, will actually be the first song on it. Right now, the album has a release date of September 18 and will hit shelves courtesy of Warp Records. Press play on the psychedelic “Sleeping Ute” below, and be sure to look a little further down for the tracklist and tour dates that extend through November.
