Originally inspired by a chess gameboard itself, the iconic Damier print from Louis Vuitton comes to life in this amusing animated short by Ill Studio, also of Paris. Like the bags and portaging accessories from the French luxury label, board games are also an expression of human nature, while offering a means to whittle away hours between destinations. Ill Studio capitalized on these themes, transitioning from place to place between the many different games (and travel destinations) that Vuitton now offers, starting with the original chess board.
