In this latest of a long run of seasonal photoshoots from Japanese streetwear publication GRIND, the editorial team manages to highlight a side of the A Bathing Ape 2012 spring/summer collection that, perhaps some casual fans are not aware of. While BAPE’s style has been slowly evolving, from the brand’s early hip-hop influence, to this most recent approach, many people still think that BAPE only produces all-over print hooded tops, shiny shoes and baggy jeans. The styling offered up here shows that many items from this season can be combined to create a much more smart and casual look, while the use of the now world-famous Ape Head logo and 1st CAMO design help retain the classic BAPE vibe.
