Bang & Olufsen woos the iOS crowd with a series of iFriendly luxuries, including this impressive BeoPlay A3 speaker dock for the iPad. Providing what the Danish high-end sound system manufacturers are calling a “stable wedge” for nestling your first-or second-generation iPad, the booming speaker with a 2.1 sound system promises to maximize your sound output in a very stylish way. Drivers include three 0.5-inch tweeters and a 2-inch woofer for bass. The svelte design also features five hours of battery playing time and “adaptive stereo orientation,” which senses the device’s orientation and activates the appropriate speakers for best stereo sound no matter how it’s been placed. The dock will be available at the official B&O Play online store for $727 USD later this month.
