French contemporary label A.P.C. has commissioned Italian sunglass brand L.G.R to recreate this piece of ’60s-inspired optical styles for their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Constructed from a rich, 8mm cellulose acetate, the chestnut brown frame is hand-polished and finished with stainless steel hinges and accenting gold logo hits. L.G.R also fitted the frame with Barberini anti-reflective photochromic lenses that lighten and darken based on the level of exposure to UV rays.
