This weekend will see the opening of a brand new exhibition at Dover Street Market London from Japanese brand visvim. Dubbed “Study and Practice,” the installation will juxtapose prototypical vintage menswear pieces from designer Hiroki Nakamura‘s extensive personal collection with those from visvim’s own line, thus asking if Nakamura’s designs can one day achieve “vintage” status. “Study and Practice” opens this Saturday, April 21, with Nakamura himself in attendance and is set to remain open through May 6.
