Skateboarder Magazine x Vans Capsule Collection Preview
A seemingly perfect match, classic Southern California skate footwear company Vans has linked up

A seemingly perfect match, classic Southern California skate footwear company Vans has linked up with the first publication of its kind, Skateboarder Magazine, for a capsule collection due out later this summer. Linked almost from the beginning with both parties sharing origins in 1960s Orange County, Skateboarder Magazine and Vans both took off in the 1970s as the popularity of the sport grew with the rise of Dogtown’s Vans-outfitted Zephyr skate team and the insatiable desire for coverage of the crew. Celebrating their shared past, the two skateboarding staples have come together for a reissue of some of the most iconic silhouettes to grace the pages of the magazine – the Sk8-Hi, Old Skool and Authentic. With each pair sporting the bright colorways of the originals, the capsule collection is set in the coming months.
