Kostas Murkudis x MYKITA 2012 Spring/Summer Collection

Greek designer Kostas Murkudis has commissioned the optical design talents of his fellow countrymen at MYKITA for his Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Rich, summery hues of blue, gold and silver were selected for the two pieces in this collection: the ELEKTRA and PHINEAS. Each alloy frame features MYKITA’s signature hinge complications, and lightly tinted teardrop lenses. But more interesting, is how MYKITA engineers used laser-etching to finish each frame with a subtly textured moiré pattern. The collection should already be available at select retailers.
