Soulful crooner John Mayer is back with the video for “Shadow Days,” the lead single off his upcoming album Born and Raised. After being sidelined indefinitely after a vocal affliction left the signer unable to perform – forcing a number of canceled performances in 2012 – Mayer looks to be in top form with this heartfelt ballad whose accompanying visuals evoke a metaphorical search and journey. While his vocal condition still leaves his career very much in jeopardy, fans are surely welcoming hearing Mayer make sweet music again when Born and Raised hits shelves May 22.
