Florence + the Machine - MTV Unplugged

Following up to last week’s teaser comes the full episode of Florence + the Machine’s MTV Unplugged session. Now, the full episode has emerged online. Following in the footsteps of such luminaries as Paul McCartney, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys, the English band delivered an intimate set which was taped at the historic Angel Orensanz Center in New York’s Lower East Side. Alongside three of her band members and a 10-piece Gospel choir from New York, Florence played a set that included well-known tracks from their second studio album Ceremonials, but also “Dog Days Are Over” off of their offering Lungs. In addition, the crowd was catered with a cover of Jerry Leiber and Billy Edd Wheeler’s classic “Jackson” and belted out Otis Redding’s “Try a Little Tenderness.” Enjoy and download your own copy here.
