Carven has been named the menswear guest designer for the 82 edition of the Pitti Uomo trade fair
Carven has been named the menswear guest designer for the 82 edition of the Pitti Uomo trade fair in Florence in June. Carven’s artistic director, Guillaume Henry, who took over designing the house’s off-the-radar menswear line last June, is to present the brand’s Spring 2013 men’s collection – likely in a runway show format. The event will offer a hefty dose of international exposure for the line, which for the past two seasons has been shown in discreet showroom presentations around Paris. Previous special guests at Pitti Uomo include Band of Outsiders, Jil Sander and Valentino.
