Over the past few months, Denver-based folk rock band The Lumineers has been on a rapid rise. After catching the ears of television audiences with their anthemic single, “Ho Hey,” and wowing crowds throughout the U.S. on tour, the trio of Wesley Schultz, Jeremiah Fraites and Neyla Pekarek is finally getting ready to release their debut self-titled album next Tuesday, April 3 on Dualtone Records. With a stellar, buzz-making New York Times review of one of their shows at SXSW and their fanbase growing fast, things are bound to continue heading up from here for The Lumineers. As word of their foot-stomping, hand-clapping, banjo-strumming, acoustic-driven ballads continues to spread, the band is keeping the new content flowing. A couple of months ago, they stopped by Anita Studios in Los Angeles and let the folks of Look Session film live renditions of a few songs. Although two of the clips hit the ‘net last month, the third has just been made available for the public’s viewing pleasure. Press play above to watch The Lumineers give a special performance of the fan favorite, “Dead Sea.” If you like what you hear, pre-order their album here.
