With a scattered peppering of music since 2010, some people have been left pondering “where in the world is Jay Electronica?” Here’s hoping that the latest video with New Balance is an indication that the 34-year-old emcee is back at work churning out material that his fans have been pining for. The “Excellent Makers” series finds Electronica talking about his musical beginnings as well as what it means to be authentic. With his album Act II: Patents of Nobility supposedly finished since July, 2011, the ball is now officially in Roc Nation’s court.
