Often characterized by outside the box thinking and otherwise unconventional aesthetics, Converse Japan introduces a range of April 2012 footwear releases making use of its iconic Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette. The first within the lineup takes shape via the “CARIBBEAN TRIPPER” iteration that sees a characterized tropical motif emblazoned as an all-over-print canvas. Offered in two colors, dark navy and yellow, the pair features contrasting laces and an off-white outsole. Additionally two versions of a plaid-patterned Chuck Taylor arrive mocked up in tri-tone hues across the entirety of the shoe’s upper. A customary All Star circle motif is seen on the upper ankle hit of the shoes complementing a trademark pure white outsole. With retail set at ¥6,195 JPY (approximately $77 USD), availability will be offered next month through select Converse Japan stockists.
