LASCO: American Craftsmen - Del Mar

Combining a pitch-perfect blend of modern California surfing style and historic American craft, “Del Mar” follows Almond Surfboard and Design’s Dave Allee as he goes through the rigorous process of handshaping and finishing one of Almond’s signature longboards. Placing an emphasis on techniques more personal in nature as opposed to mass-production, it’s no wonder the LASCO (Los Angeles Shoe Company) sees many parallels between the two brands. It’s always a breath of fresh air to see things roll off a person’s digits rather than off an assembly line.
