For Fall/Winter 2012, Yoshio Kubo debuts a runway collection that resembles a notable evolution upon the present spring/summer collection affinity for patterned material choices and prints. A comprehensive collection that resembles an aesthetic of Jean-Michel Basquiat proportions, Kubo makes heavy use of all-over-print chaotic patterns that see subtle hints of bold red and orange hits throughout, effectively augmenting a degree of experimentalism to the monochromatic range. From knit bottoms to wool-constructed, toggle front outerwear, a fully-stocked assortment of retro hues and patterns pair well against the juxtaposition of contemporary cuts and loosely layered tailoring.
