Hands down, there has been plenty of Odd Future news as of late and it is currently taking over our popular post list. However, one has to admit that it has been quite an eventful week for the Los Angeles collective and the frenzy continued last night when the group’s concert at the House of Blues in Boston was shut down by the police. As Pitchfork points out, local authorities cut the gig short after a member of the OFWGKTA crew was arrested outside the venue. The fan-captured footage above displays Tyler, the Creator explaining the situation to the crowd.
“We wanted to finish (the show) but the owner of the club made us turn it off and the police are right there.”
It’s at this point Tyler’s microphone is turned off and the stage lights are dimmed as the crowd starts to express its discontent with a chorus of boos.
