In its latest Issue 32 for March/April 2012, Middle East magazine Brownbook delves into the topic of global restaurant traditions through an exploration of cities like Instanbul, recipes of the Ottomans, as well as North African cuisine. Not forgetting any of the other cultural aspects of its on-site features, Brownbook also showcases a range of architecture from the region including the National Museum of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh and a developing creative region in Amman. HYPEBEAST recently caught up with Rashid Shabib of Brownbook to gather insight into the state of the region and how the publication is working to shift the sentiments and misconceptions surrounding the Middle East.
