Alan Taylor is a Dublin-born, 2010 graduate of the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Despite his young age, Taylor has already worked with a range of fashion heavy-hitters including David David, Agape Mdumulla and Alexander McQueen. Coinciding with themes from his personal Fall/Winter 2012 collection, Taylor teamed up with indie filmographer Zoe Hitchen to create the short film entitled “Man” — tackling certain stigma behind men’s fashion, as well as modern society’s perception of masculinity. Taylor’s collection looks to overcome those boundaries to portray a modern man that is confident, aggressive and passionate.
