Wiz Khalifa & Domo Genesis - Ground Up

If you’ve been following the Odd Future movement over the past year or so, you might remember when Tyler, the Creator and Domo Genesis expressed their feelings toward Wiz Khalifa’s album title, Rolling Papers, when it was announced in January 2011. Since Genesis had already released a well-received project called Rolling Papers, he, his fellow wolf and tons of fans felt that it wasn’t right for Khalifa to use that name for his highly-anticipated LP. But despite the negative words exchanged, both Genesis and Tyler have made it clear many times since then that they are fans of Khalifa. And as one of the resident weed enthusiasts of OF, it has long been a goal of Genesis’ to work with Khalifa. Last night, the dream came true when the Wolf Gang and Taylor Gang got in the studio together. With the assistance of a beat by one of Khalifa’s go-to producers, Cardo, Genesis and Khalifa teamed up for this brand new song called “Ground Up.” Listen and download below.
