In 2011 Vans OTW and The Blackouts, Ako and Atiba Jefferson, set out to create a free reggae compilation featuring music from VP Records’ vast catalog of artists. VP Records houses the best in reggae and dance hall music and Ako and Atiba spent weeks carefully selecting each artist for this vinyl compilation. Once the tracks were chosen, the advocates and Vans set out for Jamaica to finalize the project. The above video documents The Blackouts walking in the footsteps of Bob Marley and Peter Tosh.
