The pulsing beat that carries SBTRKT’s “Hold On” track is still present in the SISI BAKBAK Remix, but the vibe has been totally recreated into something more melancholy. The more downplayed tone is expected, considering SISI BAKBAK is Thom Yorke of Radiohead’s electronic side project. The remix is about twice as long as the original, and substitutes SBTRKT’s heartbroken prose for a more unintelligible trance sound.
