Polish painter Alexandra Pacula combines elements of photorealism, expressionism and impressionism to create large blurred oil paintings of urban scenes. Out of her Brooklyn studio Pacula paints a variety of settings that mimic long-exposure photographs, capturing spirals of street lights that inspire a feeling of long city nights. Pacula’s work has been featured in exhibitions across the U.S., Spain, London and Paris.
