For his Fall/Winter 2012 collection, Hisham Oumlil wanted to portray optimism in the midst of stagnation. “Amidst all this incertitude, insecurity, and lack of drive, there are men working behind the scenes–building, innovating, and creating–and my desire is to convey this idea in the clothes I make,” says Oumlil. The designer brings to life this feeling of firm resolve through impeccably tailored menswear inspired by suggestive takes on architecture and design. The pieces are made in the USA and in his home country of Morocco.
