A followup to the 2009 Oktopus, Linde Werdelin unveils the Oktopus II Double Date. Utilizing ceramic detailing for the first time in any piece, it is coupled with titanium, and in one case, rose gold to provide optimal water resistance and prevention of corrosion over long term exposure to saltwater. The most pronounced design trait of the Oktopus II is the dial. It is a multi-tiered dial with an upper layer cut out in a stencil technique bearing the LW logo. The lower dial features a circular Cotes de Geneve to give the effect of water ripples. A preview of the Oktopus II Double Date can be seen below.
