Self-taught street photographer Jerome Poulalier currently has a wonderful exhibition, “Immersion,” on display at the H3 Concept Gallery in Paris. The artist invites us into what he likes to call an “urban theater,” where each scene takes us into a world where reality takes on a new dimension and feel. His photographs provide a contrasting, colored twist to the urban aesthetic while sometimes unearthing dramatic surprises. For those of you in and around Paris, “Immersion” runs through February 3.
