Jay-Z and Kanye West's customized Maybach officially goes to auction

It’s official – on March 8, 2012, the “customized” Maybach immortalized by Jay-Z and Kanye West in the Spike Jonze-directed “Otis” video goes on the auction block at Phillips de Pury & Company. Viewing begins Saturday, February 25, 2012. Phillips de Pury & Company will offer the Otis Maybach (estimate: $100,000-150,000) as Lot 1 of the Contemporary Art Evening Sale, led by auctioneer Simon de Pury, at 450 Park Avenue in New York, with all proceeds going to Save the Children. The Otis Maybach will be on view during the Evening Sale exhibition. Viewing times are February 25–March 7, 2012, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (Mon-Sat) and 12 p.m.-6 p.m. (Sun).
