The world of hyperfast primes for the Micro 4/3rds market has gotten another boost with Japanese brand Cosina Voigtlander offering up their Nokton 17.5 mm f/0.95 lens. Previously releasing a 25mm focal length (50mm on a 4/3rds body), the 17.5mm offers another popular 35mm focal length when mounted to your favorite camera. Despite being significantly cheaper than Leica counterparts (with uncompatible mounts as well), the CV option should provide a robust and suitable option for those looking for extreme depth of field and low light performance. A release is set for March, 2012.
