Self Edge’s Andrew Chen teases an upcoming pair of collaborative Alden boots involving Self Edge

Self Edge’s Andrew Chen teases an upcoming pair of collaborative Alden boots involving Self Edge and Waikiki/Beverley Hills footwear purveyor, Leather Soul. The final outcome is a commendable cap toe effort featuring a black leather upper seen here as well as a natural chromexcel version. A release is set for next month in which a matching pair of Iron Heart jeans will also accompany the boots. The style itself was taken from an original 1930s faux cap toe model that did not include the usual leather element over the toe but rather a stitch to give the illusion of a cap toe. This was due to the need to preserve materials during World War II. A release is set for February 18.
