Stussy Chapters for Converse First String Pro Leather

One of Converse‘s most iconic sneaker designs of all time, the Pro Leather first appeared on the scene during basketball’s golden age over 30 years ago. Gracing the feet of some of the biggest names in the sport including most notably Larry Bird and Dr. J, these were the precursors to today’s modern, structured basketball shoes. As one of the five collaborators working with Converse for the Fall/Winter 2012 First String Pro Leather collection, Stüssy was given the chance to put their mark on these classic sneakers which incorporates a well-conceived patchwork camo motif. Despite the overall popularity of camo, these offer something decidedly different from the camo iterations of recent times. The Stussy Chapters for Converse First String Pro Leather will release on December 8 with a retail price of $128 USD.
