Derek Mattison, the self-proclaimed “tailoring whore,” has recently launched his first flagship store in the heart of Los Angeles. Situated in the highly coveted neighborhood of Melrose Place, the tailoring haven will be the only place for the time being where patrons can pick up Mattison’s revered skinny lapel suits. Adhering to the brand’s simple and clean aesthetic, the Mattison shop is accented by antique furniture and a fireplace-lit fitting room. Not one to skimp on opulence, the Mattison shop is an exercise in timeless design, as the brand enlisted the services of design collective Commune for the project.
